Gig Guide Week Commencing Sunday 30th September 2012!

  • We start off tonight with Sauce at the Kitchen from 11pm, the Sunday Social is at Andrew’s Lane Theatre from 11pm and Shirley and the gang are at the George for bring from 9.30pm for Bingo.
  • While tomorrow Monday, October 1st, New York’s glam-queens  the Scissor Sisters are at Olympia Theatre with tickets at €32.90. At the Wilde Bar and Venue it’s Wilde About Music as Stella Bass sings THE FIRST LADIES OF JAZZ and then Dolly Does the Dragon with DJ Lee from 10pm.
  • On Tuesday,  October 2nd, The Temper Trap will be playing The Academy from 8pm with tickets costing €29. GLITZ is at the Dandelion Nightclub from 11pm and at the Wilde Venue it’s Oscar’s Movie Night!
  • On Wednesday, October 3rd, Founding member of the experimental rock icons The Velvet Underground, John Cale returns to Dublin to play The Button Factory at 7.30pm with entry at €29. For the theatre buffs out there, Tristan And Isolde will be at the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre until Saturday October 6th with tickets starting at €15. At the George it’s Strictly Come Pole Dancing with Space N’Veda and at The Dragon get your dance on with Play.
  • On Thursday, October 4th, Cheryl plays The O2 with tickets starting at €39, Irish singer and songwriter, Damien Dempsey launches his new album at The Button Factory at 8.30pm with tickets costing €28. This year’s Hard Working Class Heroes kicks off for the rest of the weekend with day tickets costing €20 or weekend tickets costing €45. At the Pantibar, it’s Make & Do Do from 9.30pm and at the George, it’s the Devine Apprentice with Davina Devine.
  • On Friday  October 5th, Britain’s Got Talent star, Ryan O’ Shaughnessy plays The Academy at 6pm with tickets starting at €17. Old school Irish favourites, The 4 Of Us, will be playing The Seamus Ennis Cultural Centre from 8.30pm with entry at €16. At the George  it’s Mischief from 11pm, in Andrew’s Lane Theatre F.A.G. kicks off at 10pm and if you’re up for a laugh Bunny’s Hutch is at the Pantibar from 9pm. And just for the ladies, it’s Klub Desire Presents their TRAFFIC LIGHT NIGHT from 10pm at The Copper Alley.
  • On Saturday  October 6th, following the success of their track We Are Young, New York band, FUN are at The Academy with tickets costing €17.35, David Kitt is at Whelan’s with tickets costing €15. Mother is at the Copper Alley or get your dance on at The Front Lounge. And at the Dragon, Dragged Up celebrates its 1st birthday with Willam from RuPaul’s Drag Race.
  • On Sunday  October 7th Newton Faulkner is at the Olympia Theatre at 8pm with tickets costing €25. At the George it’s Bingo with Shirley and the gang from 9.30pm, while Sauce is at the Kitchen and in the Pantibar is the Panti Comedy Show.
